Good morning everyone,
This morning Dave and I read the beginning of the story of Noah, Genesis 6:9-22.
In the introduction to this story, Noah is given the instructions for the construction of the Ark and he “did everything just as God commanded him”. Quite often in life, we receive God’s instructions in the form of a voice and sometimes we have a hard time obeying because we don’t know God’s voice compared to our selfish desires so we do not follow his word. Today, I encourage everyone to ask for the spirit of discernment. The spirit that allows us to know the difference between the voice of God and all the other noise in our life. It’s not always easy, but it is possible.
May we all find our ways of discerning the voice of God and the voice of the spirit.
