Today, I’m sitting in front of my laptop and writing something dear to my heart. I was on Instagram a few nights ago and found myself watching interviews with celebrities, one of them being Meagan Good and her interview inspired me and struck a spot of self-worth. This led to me writing a spew of nonsensical thoughts in my journal. I decided that the best way to make sense of these thoughts is by writing a blog post. Let’s begin with the feeling of worth. Am I good enough? Like many people, I ask myself this question more than I would like to and more often than not, the answer…
March was a busy month and I missed my chance to share my faves with you, but I’m here with my April faves. Check out the January and February lists for some other great items or shop my past faves. This month’s list consists of some very functional items that I hope you enjoy. Microfiber Neck Pillow: $$ Most people associate neck pillows with airplanes and travelling so did I until a recent girl’s trip. I noticed one of my friends had this pillow and used it nightly, out of curiosity, I had to inquire. She told me that it was amazing for sleeping, sitting in bed and long…

Happy birthday @davefound! We celebrate your life today because you are a gift! The one who knows my emotions in and out, knows when my eyebrows are at rest or about to start something 😂 the one who knows my different “I’m fine” levels, the one who Fiara calls for stinky diaper changes (she has decided this is Dad’s duties) and the one Alayo looks up to everyday, the hardest working person I know and the most milk consumer to ever exist (I think he single-handedly keeps the dairy industry alive), I love you and I love you more as you age. We are all so blessed to have you! May God’s blessings, grace and mercy continue to be with you. ...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I love a good snowstorm but nothing beats a day on the beach 🏝️ ...
It’s my momma’s birthday!!! The jollof Queen @yemi1954, I dare you to find jollof rice better than my mom’s and that’s not just a biased comment. Wishing this amazing woman, mom and stand up grandma a very happy and blessed year ahead. She deserves it all! When I’m faced with a conflict, I often ask myself WWJD or as my girlfriend and I say “what would grandma do?” and that’s because she’s such a great example of love and genuine care. I love you mom!!! ...
