Another week complete! It feels as though time is just speeding by, so much to do and so little time. If you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel or follow me on Instagram, you know that I have Sickle Cell and this has been a big part of my pregnancy experience (more to come on that later). For the first time in my pregnancy, I have gone more than 2 weeks without getting sick, I can’t express how great this feels. 1 Corinthians 13 has always been one of my favourite passages and today I had an eureka moment! While in church, the Pastor was preaching on the topic of hope and he read 1 Cor. 13:4-7, I was immediately pulled back to verse 5. Wow!! I can’t believe it’s been 20 weeks already. Feels like just yesterday that we found out we were pregnant with our rainbow baby. Time sure flies! I wanted to document this journey since Day 1 but life got in the way. Today, I am recommitting myself to devoting more energy to my baby and less to the distractions in life. It’s funny how you can want something so bad, yet when it comes you let life get in the way of your ability to truly enjoy and savour every moment.
