For the month of December, I gathered a list of my favourite (fave) items and narrowed it down to five items. This list consists of items from clothing to electronics. This will be a new addition to the blog, sharing my fave items of the month or season. I hope you love these and get a chance to try something new that might become one of your faves!

In 2017, I bought my first adult onesie during a Christmas sale and it stayed in my closet for a year. I decided to change that in 2018 and not only did I pull out my adult onesie but I bought a second one. Both onesies were from one of my favourite winter stores, Roots. An adult onesie is the perfect lounge piece because it keeps you cozy and it’s an all-in-one outfit. Be forewarned, the onesie might not be your partner’s favourite loungewear for you; however, it might become one of your fave pieces. I love these so much; I’ve even worn it out a few times, once you throw on a winter coat no one knows you have a onesie on, it’s your little secret.

With so many different headphones to choose from in the market, it was tough to invest in these Bose headphones. Everyone looks for something a little different in headphones, I’ll tell you my criteria:

• noise-cancelling
• wireless
• ability to connect with multiple devices
• make/answer phone calls

I found the Bose QC 35 II to be the perfect choice for me because it met all my needs and it’s a lightweight set with great reviews. These headphones are comfortable for long wear and with the long battery life, you’ll be able to enjoy hours of movies or music. My Bose headphones are a daily fave while working in my office, especially during my son’s naptime. I just love them!

Pandora Charm/Bracelet: $ – $$

Pandora Bracelets & Charms

Pandora bracelets and charms have been trending for years now and I didn’t understand the hype until this past fall. A friend bought me a ring from Pandora and I needed to go into the store to exchange it for the right size. While in the store, I looked at bracelets and I was immediately in love with the bracelet concept. I am a girl who loves personalization, this is why I fell in love with the Pandora line of jewelry, specifically bracelets.

My first Pandora bracelet has a few charms on it which include my initials, my son’s birthstone and a ’30’ charm for my current age. I have picked up their latest catalogue and highlighted every charm I would like to own. Aside from the beauty of personalization, I believe the bracelet/charm combos create a built-in forever gift idea. You can buy special charms for people and these charms range from a low $30 up to $200+ for special edition charms and real gold charms.

Keep an eye out for sales and specials, otherwise paying full price can add up fairly quickly.

Who would have thought something as simple as a water tumbler could bring such joy? As a person who loves drinking water and aims to drink 64oz of water per day, a water tumbler is a fantastic item to own, it is truly a daily fave. I recently upgraded to the Starbucks large sized tumblers, these tumblers are approximately 24oz.

I currently own three large tumblers and I keep one in each room where I spend most of my time: my office, my bedroom and my kitchen. The goal is to empty each of these tumblers before I go to bed. This is a simple way to ensure water is available while busy and that I am meeting my goals. For those with a far less intake goal, I recommend these great Tumblers from Amazon. These simple acrylic tumblers are 160z each and you can grab a set of 4 for less than $20. The best part, they are dishwasher safe!

While looking for a scarf that would keep me warm without bulking up my outfit, I stumbled upon this lightweight cotton scarf during my Black Friday online scavenger hunt. The scarf’s snowflake pattern adds the perfect hint of subtlety that allows you to dress this scarf up or down. You can also wear this scarf with the ivory pattern or the grey pattern without losing the chic design. I absolutely love everything about this scarf and it has become a staple fave in my wardrobe for this winter. With a low price under $50, you can’t go wrong with investing in this perfect lightweight & cozy triangle scarf.
