Another week has passed and so many developments. Let’s start with the fact that I’m swelling everywhere and it’s constant, my feet are swollen all day except for the few hours when I have them elevated at night. My lower back is swollen 24/7, I don’t even know how to relieve that, so I haven’t tried. On Monday, I also discovered that I had what is called hamburger/cheeseburger crotch. This is when the area swells due to the pressure and retention around the pelvis. (Thankfully, this usually goes away within 30 minutes of standing). On another TMI note, I have developed the famous pregnancy bladder where you tinkle just a bit every time you cough or sneeze *sigh*, the worst part of this is that I could literally finish peeing and sneeze as I wash my hands and somehow there is still enough to have this little trickle.

The finish line is almost here and I can meet my little guy and have some control over my body again!

 

29 Weeks Feb 8

How far along? 29 weeks

Total weight gain/measurements: 24 lbs!!!! Around belly button: 41 inches

Clothing: #TeamNoPants

Stretch marks? None!! Still using my personal beauty product line “Naomi Body Shea Body Butter”.

Sleep: Still battling this issue. I can’t seem to sleep for more than 1.5 hours at a time and it SUCKS!! I’m such a zombie all day.

Purchases: Nothing

Highlight of the week: Booking a massage for this weekend! Eating some good jerk chicken and oxtail.

Worst moment this week: Feeling like I’m on the verge of a crisis daily.

Miss anything? Sleep

Movement: There is a lot of constant movement and sometimes it feels like baby doesn’t sleep for hours.

Food cravings: None

Food Aversions: None

Gender: BOY!

Labour signs: Nope

Symptoms: Hairy. Loud breathing. Waking up constantly. Feeling like I’m being choked. Feet swelling and back swelling. Tired

Belly button in or out? Out

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Emotions: Happy but drained

Looking forward to: Seeing baby in a few days.
