26 weeks! The third trimester is around the corner and I must say I am already starting to feel some of the infamous symptoms. My mission for this week is to figure out the best way to sleep without being in pain.
I had my glucose test at our appointment and I don’t think it sat well with my stomach. Three hours after the appointment, I had dinner and two hours after that, I proceeded to puke the entire contents of my stomach and this was hilarious in hindsight because I had my first bladder incident…meaning I couldn’t control my bladder as I puked. My husband and I had a good laugh about it afterwards.
How far along? 26 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: 11 lbs. Around belly button: 38.5 inches
Clothing: Big shirts. I avoid pants/tights unless I’m leaving the house or someone is coming over.
Stretch marks? None!! Still using my personal beauty product line “Naomi Body Shea Body Butter”.
Sleep: What is that? LOL! I’m up every 1.5-2hrs either because I have to go to the bathroom or I’m extremely uncomfortable
Purchases: A lot!!! Items for the nursery (curtains, bedding, rug)
Highlight of the week: Learning that baby is weighing well and growing accordingly. We are doing our best to avoid low birth weight on baby.
Worst moment this week: Got sick 🙁
Miss anything? Sleeping on my belly and only getting up once to pee…the good ol’ days
Movement: A lot. Baby seems to be awake a lot more now and he is making his presence known.
Food cravings: Sweet things
Food Aversions: None
Labour signs: Nope
Symptoms: Hairy. Loud breathing. Waking up constantly. Back pain.
Belly button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On.
